This October, the Truth Recovery Independent Panel is hosting a number of in-person drop-in sessions across Northern Ireland.
Some Independent Panel members and testimony facilitators will be available at each event to answer any questions you may have about the testimony process, or how to begin the process of getting access to personal records, such as birth records, adoption records or institutional records.
All events are free and informal. You are welcome to drop-in at any time – no registration needed - and stay for as long as you wish to.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will be provided at each event.
The dates and locations for these events are:
Tuesday 8 October – Omagh, Silver Birch Hotel, 6.00pm – 9.30pm.
Wednesday 16 October – Newry, Canal Court Hotel, 6.00pm – 9.30pm.
Tuesday 22 October – Belfast, Europa Hotel, 2.00pm – 4.00pm & 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
Wednesday 30 October – Derry / Londonderry, City Hotel, 2.00pm – 4.00pm & 6.00pm – 8.00pm.
Counsellors from WAVE Trauma Centre will attend each event, to provide support to anyone in attendance who would like support.
There will be a smaller breakout room available at each event, should anyone have questions, or wish to discuss anything, in a more private setting.
