Have Your Say on the Permanent Archive

As part of the truth recovery process, the Truth Recovery Independent Panel is seeking your views on the creation of a permanent archive to ensure that the experiences of those affected by the North of Ireland’s / Northern Ireland’s Mother and Baby Institutions, Magdalene Laundries and Workhouses, and their related pathways and practices, are acknowledged and preserved.

Your views are important in shaping our recommendations for how this archive should be set up and  managed, what records should be securely stored in it and how these records should be accessed.

The Independent Panel has opened a Consultation Survey and wishes to invite you to share your thoughts with them using this survey. The survey is confidential.

The survey will be open for responses until Thursday 20 March 2025. To complete the survey online, please use this link: https://shorturl.at/Y7u0d

The Independent Panel has developed a consultation documentThis document provides more information on the questions the Independent Panel would like your views on, and guidance on how to complete the survey. You can view the Permanent Archive Consultation document by clicking here.

This is an opportunity for people to have their say on the Permanent Archive and the Independent Panel would like to encourage as many people as possible to take the time to complete the survey.
