On the 22nd February 2024, the Independent Panel and PRONI invited victims-survivors to a joint event updating them on the collection of institutional records and preservation work.
The event took place in PRONI offices in Belfast with a hybrid virtual option for those who couldn’t attend in person.
As well as receiving a tour of PRONI facilities, delegates were updated on the progress of the project to date. Response to the event was extremely positive with everyone very impressed with the care and attention that PRONI staff are taking in conserving and preserving these vitally important records.
