The Co-Chairs and members of the Independent Panel were delighted to meet the Minister for Health, Mike Nesbitt MLA in Parliament Buildings on Tuesday 6 May to discuss the important issue of access to records. Discussions centred on:
- Timescales for accessing personal records,
- Protection of records, and
- The positive impact of recent guidance issued within the Department.
This was a constructive meeting, and the Independent Panel looks forward to continued engagement and collaboration on these matters.
